It was the first Sustainable Energy event in Bahrain under the patronage of HE the Minister of Electricity and Water in Bahrain.
Santiago spoke about the CE3 tool, the official SW in Spain, developed by Applus+ along with other stakeholders, for Energy Certification of buildings in Spain. Moreover, how the implementation of regulations for Energy Efficiency (EE) for buildings impacts EE awareness in the population.
Through its comprehensive energy-saving solutions, Applus+ can help its clients to achieve a greater competitive edge and improve the sustainability of their activities. The main objective of certifying energy efficiency in buildings is to objectively inform about the energy performance of a building and provide reference values for owners and tenants to be able to compare and asses their energy efficiency.
Measures to improve the buildings systems are, boiler replacement and/or cooling systems, Power division, Incorporation of evaporation to air systems, free cooling, energy recovery of air, evaporative cooling of ventilation air, insulation improvement in hydraulic nets, improvement of transport factor, and the use of solar thermal generation.
The goal of iSEE 2019 was to enhance awareness of the initiatives undertaken Bahrain in the renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) sectors, stimulate the market and encourage investment in RE and EE projects. Applus+ was proud to take part further cementing our commitment to sustainability and the environment.
